Sukanya Samriddhi Account

Sukanya Samriddhi Account is a saving scheme for parents of a girl child.

This scheme encourages parents to build a fund for the future education and marriage expenses for their girl child

This scheme was launched as a part of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign.

Atal Pension Yojana

Atal Pension Yojana is a pension scheme for unorganised sector.

In this scheme for every contribution made to the pension fund, the government will contribute an

equal amount to his/her fund or Rs 1000 per annum whichever is lower.

The Government co-contribution is available for those who are not covered by any Statutory Social Security Schemes and is not an Income Tax payer.

APY is administered by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA)

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY)

PMSBY is an Accidental Death Insurance scheme launched by the Government of India. 

It is aimed at covering the uncovered population at an highly affordable premium of just Rs.12 per year.

The Scheme will be available to people in the age group 18 to 70 years with a savings bank account who give their consent to join and enable auto-debit on or before 31st May for the coverage period 1st June to 31st May on an annual renewal basis.

Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)

PMJJBY is a life insurance scheme by the government of india. This is a non-linked, non-participating, one year renewable group term insurance product.

This scheme will be linked to the bank accounts opened under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana scheme. Most of which had zero balance initially. The government aims to reduce the number of such zero balance accounts by using this and related schemes.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY)

PMJDY is a scheme for Financial Inclusion to ensure access to financial services, namely, Banking/ Savings & Deposit Accounts, Remittance, Credit, Insurance, Pension in an affordable manner.

Account can be opened in any bank branch or Business Correspondent (Bank Mitr) outlet. PMJDY accounts are being opened with Zero balance.
